Born at the beach, Belhaven Botanicals is a micro-business, where personal service and attention to detail is everything. Each candle is 100% soya wax and is hand-poured, using nature inspired oils which are phthalate, paraben and cruelty free, ensuring a long lasting and clean burn.

Crafted with care, our soap bars have an organic glycerine base, blended with essential oils and vitamin E to nourish your skin with a rich, natural lather - gentle on you and the planet and are poured in my Belhaven workshop.

Whatever my mood, whatever the season and whatever the weather, Belhaven Bay is my beautiful sanctuary, and I want to share that gift from nature with you. MEET EILIDH

Having returned to my native Scotland to raise my young family more than a decade ago, I am lucky enough to call Belhaven Bay home: it’s where I relax and breathe; where I exercise and rejuvenate. The Bay is my sanctuary, come snow and sunshine, at sunrise and sunset.

I have had a lifelong love of crafts and a deep appreciation for the restorative power of nature. I hope to bring calm and creativity to the products I make. I understand the very real effect our surroundings have on us – physically, mentally and soulfully – and I want to offer a piece of Belhaven Bay for you to take home and absorb.

Whether you need to feel calmed or refreshed, nurtured or empowered, my range of hand-poured, phthalate, paraben and cruelty, free long-burn candles and botanical soap bars offer your mind and body what it needs whenever it needs it: just as the bay does for me.

At Belhaven Botanicals, caring for the environment is at the heart of everything we do. From the ingredients we select, to the way your order is wrapped, we believe that small choices can grow into something beautiful.

That’s why all of our packaging is fully recyclable, thoughtfully chosen to reduce waste, without compromising on quality or charm. But we wanted to go a step further - so instead of traditional packing fillers, we use plantable shredded seed paper, embedded with a blend of native UK wildflower seeds.

This means your unboxing experience doesn’t end when you open your parcel. Simply plant the paper in soil, water it well, and wait as a gentle bloom of wildflowers begins to grow. It’s our way of giving a little something back to nature - and inviting you to grow your own botanicals, inspired by the landscapes of East Lothian that we love so much.
